Raila Odinga's running mate in the just concluded presidential contest Martha Karua has thanked Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition supporters for standing with them and supporting them during the general election.
"For those who stood with us. Thank you for your courage, fight, and patriotism. Thank you for standing with us. Good morning," she wrote.
The Narc-Kenya party leader's statement comes a day after the Supreme Court threw away Raila's petition to nullify President-Elect William Ruto's win.

In a judgement read by Chief Justice Martha Koome, the seven-judge bench unanimously ruled that the August 9 presidential election was conducted in line with the country’s constitution.
The petition was filed by Raila, Martha, and seven others.
The judgment by Chief Justice Martha Koome, Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu, and judges Mohamed Ibrahim, Smokin Wanjala, Njoki Ndungu, Isaac Lenaola, and William Ouko was determined based on nine issues.
