Narok Governor-Elect Patrick Ntutu has asked his competitors to work with him to uplift the living standards of residents.

Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony held at his Olopirik home in Narok West sub-county, Ntutu (pictured) described Moitalel Ole Kenta as a worthy competitor who had a good manifesto for the people of Narok.

Ntutu, who was elected on a UDA ticket, promised to work with all in the county regardless of their political affiliation. He won the election by garnering 158,100 votes against Kenta’s 148,250.

But Kenta has rejected the results, saying the election was marred by a lot of malpractices and promised to seek legal redress.

“You are all my people and I will work with all of you. I don’t want to hear anyone discriminating against people because of their political affiliation. I will bring all the leaders on board,” he said.

Others present were MPs-elect for Narok East Ken Aramat (UDA), Narok South Kitilai Ole Ntutu (Independent), Narok West Gabriel Tongoyo (UDA), Emurua Dikirr’s Johana Ngeno (UDA) and Narok Women Rep elective Rebecca Tonkei (UDA).
