IEBC registers 56% voter turn out as of 4 pm

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced a 56.17 per cent voter turn out as at 4 pm.
This translates to 12,065,803 voters out of 22,120,458 registered voters in the country.
The electoral commission said it expected over 60 per cent turn out at the close of the voting exercise.
