State House race: Karua heads to Nakuru as Raila camps in Nairobi

Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya coalition's top leadership is set to step up their campaigns on Monday, July 4 as the country heads to the general election in 35 days.

Presidential candidate Raila Odinga will be traversing Nairobi County in a bid to solidify his support base ahead of polls.

On the other hand, his running mate Martha Karua will be hosted by Governor Lee Kinyanjui in Nakuru where is she expected to address several political rallies.

Karua will start off the campaigns from Tipis, and proceed to Mwisho wa Lami, Mau Narok, Likia, Mauche, Stoo Mbili, and finally, end the day at Naishi.

Azimio team is set to embark on a campaign trail that will cover five counties in seven days.

The campaign will begin in Nairobi and Nakuru on Monday, July 4, and end in Kakamega on Saturday, July 9.

Other counties to visit include Nyeri (July 5) Kiambu (July 6) and Kirinyaga (July 7).

The team will spend July 8 and 9 in the vote-rich Kakamega County.
