Azimio - One Kenya coalition presidential running mate Martha Karua says the Raila Odinga-led administration will prioritise the fight against corruption if the alliance wins the August polls.

Speaking during a tour of Kiambu county, the Narc Kenya leader said the Azimio administration will not tolerate any form of corruption.

Karua exuded confidence that the coalition will win the polls with a landslide.

Karua warns corrupt leaders

She revisited remarks by President Uhuru Kenyatta that the country loses Ksh2 billion daily through corruption, promising to deal with the vice firmly.

"Ukiona mimi pamoja na Raila hapo, Jua hakuna kucheka wakati was kazi. (Raila and I will work tirelessly to protect government resources). There will be no sacred cows in the fight against corruption", she told a huge crowd in Kikuyu town.

Flanked by Kiambu Governor James Nyoro and a host of politicians eyeing various elective seats in August, Karua reiterated that the Azimio administration would give a Ksh6,000 monthly stipend to cushion needy families across the country.

"We shall also offer free education from primary to University and also avail affordable health care through Babacare", she said.

Nyoro called on voters to elect the Raila-Karua ticket saying that the duo can be trusted to steer the country to greater heights of development.

"We as the people of Kiambu and Mt. Kenya can only be safe and secure economically while in the hands of the Azimio duo", Nyoro stated.

He urged voters to embrace the six-piece suit mode of voting to strengthen the Azimio administration.
