Matiang’i, Karoney among first cabinet secretaries to cast vote

Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Fred Matiang'i has cast his vote.

The security boss cast his vote at Manga Girls High school in Nyamira county.

Speaking after casting his ballot, the CS assured Kenyans of heightened security during and after the elections.

"We have deployed our officers effectively to support IEBC. IEBC is the main actor today, we are playing a supportive role," the CS added.

Elsewhere Land Farida Karoney CS cast her vote at St. Georges primary polling station in Nairobi county.
