The political rivalry between Chama Cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leadership has come to an end days after the Gatundu South MP boycotted Kenya Kwanza rallies over disagreements.

Kuria and his challenger - hopeful Kiambu governor William Kabogo - have been embroiled in a political supremacy tussle with UDA’s top leadership over the oppression of their parties to the advantage of Ruto’s preferred candidates.

Kabogo and Kuria allege that UDA has been giving priority to their own candidates at the Kenya Kwanza events while other members were being 'bullied' and silenced.

The two have been seeking an address by Kenya Kwanza Principles who they had requested to organize a meeting to deliberate on their complaints and chart a way forward.

The two political bigwigs have been conspicuously absent in Kenya Kwanza events since a tour in Kiambu County that saw Kabogo and senator Kimani Wamatangi exchange trade words in front of Ruto’s deputy Rigathi Gachagua.

Kuria now seems to have swallowed his pride as he has since re-embarked on tours to galvanize Ruto’s support in various parts of the country.

Yesterday, June 21, the Gatundu South MP joined Ruto for an economic forum in Nairobi from which he seemingly detailed having bowed out of his former threat of exiting the camp.

Today, June 22, Kuria posted his photo while on a plane heading to Nakuru County where Gachagua will be holding an economic forum.

In the post, Kuria stated that he was headed for a Kenya Kwanza meeting in Nakuru.

“Nakuru here I come. #KenyaKwanza,” he posted.

Gachagua is expected to hold a meeting at Shalom in Ole Rongai, Rongai Constituency before heading to Maili Kumi, Bahati Constituency.

He will later visit Kabuki before engaging residents of Subukia Centre, Subukia Constituency in the evening.

As Kuria rejoins Ruto’s camp, the fate of his friend and opponent Kabogo who recently termed Gachagua as a dictator is not known as he is yet to come out clear when he will remain in Kenya Kwanza or will dump the camp for Azimio.
