Raila maintains lead in Kitui as Ruto’s popularity declines – Infotrak poll

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential candidate is leading by a huge margin in Kitui County against Kenya Kwanza's William Ruto, a new Infotrak Research report released on Thursday, July 28 has shown.

According to the poll, Raila is enjoying 57 per cent popularity against Ruto's 21 per cent.

The new survey showed the Azimio leader has gained two per cent since the last poll in June (55%).

Ruto, on the other hand, has lost popularity by three per cent from 24 per cent in June.

George Wajackoyah of the Roots Party of Kenya has also lost popularity, polling three per cent down from four per cent last month.

The survey, however, shows 20 per cent of the Kitui voters have not decided who to vote for as president, up from 17 per cent in June.

The poll was released 11 days before the general election.
