Raila opens wide lead over Ruto in Makueni – Infotrak poll

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential Candidate is leading by a huge margin in Makueni County against Kenya Kwanza's William Ruto, a new Infotrak Research report released on Thursday, July 28 has shown.

According to the poll, Raila is enjoying 68 per cent popularity against Ruto's 16 per cent.

The new survey showed the Azimio leader has gained 11 per cent since the last poll in June (57%).

Ruto, on the other hand, has lost popularity by five per cent from 21 per cent in June.

George Wajackoyah of the Roots Party of Kenya has also lost popularity, polling one per cent down from three per cent last month.

In the county, David Maure Waihiga of the Agano Party has gained 0.2 per cent popularity from zero last month.

The poll was released 11 days before the general election.
