Raila most popular presidential candidate in Machakos – Infotrak poll
Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition presidential candidate is leading by a huge margin in Machakos County against William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), a new Infotrak Research report released on Thursday, July 28 has shown.
According to the poll, Raila is enjoying 62 per cent popularity against Ruto's 21 per cent.
The new survey showed the Azimio leader has gained 11 per cent since the last poll in June (51%).
Ruto, on the other hand, has lost popularity by eight per cent from 29 per cent in June.
Others captured in the poll
George Wajackoyah of the Roots Party of Kenya has also lost popularity, polling two per cent down from four per cent last month.
The survey, however, shows 12 per cent of the Machakos voters have not decided who to vote for as president, up from eight per cent in June.
The poll was released 11 days before the general election.
