At the time of publishing this article, Ruto was trailing Raila after 43 per cent of the participants selected him as their preferred candidate.

The poll only involved the two frontrunners.

Sudi's poll comes three days ahead of the August polls slated for Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

The two frontrunners are intensifying their last-minute campaigns softening the hearts of voters.

Raila is making his fifth stab for the top job while Ruto is making his first stab, should Raila win, Ruto will be on opposition for the next five years whereas if Ruto wins, chances are that Raila will not vie for presidency again.
