Uhuru convenes second Azimio council meeting in Nairobi

The Azimio Coalition Council Chairperson Uhuru Kenyatta has convened a second council meeting to be held on Friday, June 24, 2022.

The meeting will be chaired by the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya party leader Raila Odinga at KICC, Nairobi.

“Take notice that a meeting of the Coalition Council, to be chaired by the Party Leader (Mr Odinga), will be held on the 24 June 2022, at KICC starting at 10.00am,” President Kenyatta said in a notice to council members.

The purpose of the meeting, according to the President, is to discuss campaign strategies ahead of the general election.

The members will mainly concentrate on discussing a plan to ensure Raila wins the August 9 presidential election.

The first Azimio Council meeting was held on April 21, 2022.
