Azimio says it has gathered water-tight evidence from the printing of ballot papers, voting, tallying, technology, and announcing the results that will help the Supreme court nullify the presidential polls.

"We have water-tight evidence compared to that we had in 2017, and we trust that the Supreme court will overturn the results that saw William Ruto declared the winner of the presidential elections," Azimio Executive Director Raphael Tuju said.

Speaking at a vernacular radio station, Tuju said Azimio has not yet moved to file the petition because they are busy working on evidence their legal team would adduce before courts.

"We shall move to court this weekend to seek legal redress, for we know the IEBC oversaw the polls in a skewed manner. Our prayer was to go for a re-run, but the IEBC chose to opt for irregularities that saw Chebukati declare Ruto as the President-elect," Tuju said.

The Cabinet Secretary was optimistic that the Supreme Court bench would rule in their favour adding that the four IEBC commissioners that distanced themselves from the results announced by their boss had evidence that would boost their case.
