Broke MP’s new-found fortune raises eyebrows

The fortunes of an MP from Nyanza serving his third term have drastically transformed, raising eyebrows among his friends.

The man, known for professing his loyalty to his party leader, was recently living from hand to mouth, begging for handouts from his colleagues.

But the lawmaker seems to discovered that money can grow on trees and has even moved from Kileleshwa estate to the leafy Karen suburb. What’s more, his fleet of cars has grown, with a new Porsche and Jaguar F-type resting in his parking lot.
