A 49-year-old man was left in a lake of tears after donating his priceless kidney to a needy, dying lover who ended saying no to his marriage proposal.
The unlucky man, Simon Louis, popped the question to Mary Emmanuelle after nursing her back to life through kidney donation, but Mary gently rejected his proposal, leaving the man a pile of misery.
“I offered her my heart, but I had to settle for giving her my kidney. Whatever happens, I’ll never regret giving her the gift of life,” said the weeping man.
