Song review: Keys To My Heart
In the spirit of celebrating the International Women’s Day, singer-songwriter Mr Dutch has released a new jam titled Keys To My Heart. He says the songs are a celebration to all the women.
“We men can’t stay without celebrating and appreciating our ladies and we aim to keep releasing good music for the soul.
This was just one way for me to show that appreciation, especially during the Women’s Day,” he says. Keys To My Heart has a catchy Afrobeat vibe and the instrumentation is to ‘die’ for, quite literally.
The producer was on point, matching the singer’s smooth baritone vocals with a rhythm that sails in unison with the song’s theme.
In the song, Mr Dutch (who believes he is educating strangers on a culture that is deep-rooted in Africa’s sound that beats with the ebb and flow of everyday life) talks about the feelings of love and good vibes his woman gives him whenever she is with him. Generally, it is a feel-good jam. Rating 8/ 10
