The King’s Man.

2Released in December 2021, The King’s Man sequel so far has been entertaining for those in love with matters history.

For this latest installment, the set-up is the onset of the first world with Ralph Fiennes the main character playing Orlando the Duke of Oxford and as the spy agency’s founder, racing to save Europe from tumbling under class and nobility mayhem.

The out of the world characters weave through several plotlines and the superb acting leads you the incidents that led to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand at Sarajevo with the Gavrilo Princip; a rebel leading the plot to assassinate the crown prince who happens to be Orlando’s friend.

Princip who is keen on starting a war, succeeds on the second time and is under the orders of the Shepherd.

This spy action filled film is Michael Vaughns third piece and some critics feel that his latest work is under the bar, set by the previous two.

Chemistry between the characters is great and the great array of actors led by Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Bruhl and Djimon Hounsou delivers to the maximum. SCORE: 8/10
