It has been a moment since we reviewed some jams from Malindi Records. This time, we are introduced to fresh talents from the huge pool of gifted artistes under the label.
Binti Racquel and Fabian Louie have teamed up to release Yes I Do, a beautiful love song with each artiste celebrating the beautiful journeys of couples in love.
It will be unfair to say it is the best yet from the two, but the vocals and song writing skills is absolutely commendable.
Produced by the magical hands of Sango, the audio is well mixed and mastered and the chemistry of the two artistes is strong.
However, it takes a while before you get to groove to Racquel’s part. When it comes to directing, Marvin Bruddas is one of the best cinematographers we have around, and this time round, he was a bit plain.
Given the quarantine period, it’s a song you wouldn’t mind bopping to when making blissful moments count. Rating: 6/10
