All is set for the return of Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria who has recovered after months of recuperating at a Dubai Hospital.

At Thika Stadium where the outspoken MP will be holding a thanksgiving rally, final preparations are ongoing with the MP expected to land at the stadium tomorrow morning.

Kuria has invited the leading presidential candidates for his grand thanksgiving ceremony which although couched as his homecoming and prayer event, the rally is loaded with heavy political significance.

The Chama Cha Kazi leader is expected to publicly declare his political plans after announcing that he will not be defending his seat.

His followers led by Njeri Karanja who is vying for Thika town parliamentary seat under the CCK umbrella and Muchiri wa Rware, (a follower) said the party has gained roots across Mt Kenya region and will soon spread its wings across the country in a bid to win various parliamentary positions.

"We are ready to receive our party leader. We really thank God for healing him and making him return home to help build the party and reconcile Kenyans," Njeri stated.

They thanked God for his successful recovery saying his healing is a major hope for Kenyans who aspire to be united.

Kuria is expected to make stopovers in various towns among them Githurai, Ruiru, Juja among others where he is expected to address residents.
