Gathoni wa Muchomba advises politicians against Women Rep position as she reveals her ambition to become president
Kiambu county Woman Representative Gathoni wa Muchomba says she aspires to become a president before turning 60.
Gathoni who was speaking in an interview on Youtube says both her parents and her husband supports her political ambitions.
"My husband would tell you I will be a future president. Watch this space, before I'm 60 if I'll still be alive, I will be the president of the Republic of Kenya," she stated.
"President Gathoni! Put that in record, I will and I shall," she added.
The outspoken 46-year-old lady who takes pride in her successful radio career says while the seat of Women Rep is big and senior, it aims to destroy one's political ambitions.
She argues that for instance in Kiambu county she is expected to serve 12 constituencies but apparently, the resources are quite limited.
"I want to be very honest, any woman going for a political seat I would advise them to avoid the woman rep seat.
It is big but quite limited and will destroy their political career," she stated.
Gathoni still contends that she still deserves to be paid well in her capacity as a lawmaker in this country.
Additionally, she maintained that every man should take care of their children whether born in or out of wedlock. She is a vocal supporter of polygamy which was signed into law by President Uhuru.
