Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Sunday joined One Kenya Alliance principals for an afternoon meeting.

Taking to her social media page, Martha Karua, one of the OKA principals, revealed that she and other principals - Kalonzo Musyoka and Cyrus Jirongo - enjoyed an afternoon meeting with Moses Kuria.

"Enjoying Sunday afternoon with Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Kuria, Cyrus Jirongo and Gitile Naituli," Karua said.

The meeting between the leaders comes days after OKA principals revealed that they have initiated coalition talks with Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja movement.

Speaking about the meeting, Kuria revealed that he had a political talk with the OKA leaders with an intention of working together ahead of the August elections.

Kuria said that though he is open to working with OKA, he will only do so if the alliance does not enter into a coalition with the Azimio la Umoja.

"Today I hosted my good friends from One Kenya Alliance led by H.E Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Hon Martha Karua (Narc Kenya), Cyrus Jirongo (UDP) and Kanu executive director George Wainaina (representing Gideon Moi).

"They invited Chama cha Kazi and myself to join One Kenya Alliance. Whereas we share many ideas between Chama cha Kazi and OKA, we agreed to work together as long as OKA is not joining the Azimio coalition which is incompatible with me and my party," Kuria said.

Though he was reluctant to join OKA due to its association with Azimio, Kuria said that he will hold another meeting with the OKA principals in the coming weeks.
