"Nomination papers can be collected from the office of the clerk of the county assembly at the county assembly of Kirinyaga, Kerugoya offices during working hours," the notice directs.

The MCAs, both elected and nominated are expected to be sworn in during the first sitting and then proceed to elect the Speaker of the House.

Out of the total number of 32 MCAs, at least 20 of them were elected to represent 20 wards in Kirinyaga county at the county assembly during the August 9 general elections.

The remaining 12 MCAs have been nominated according to the strength of various parties represented at the Kerugoya-based legislative House.
