Former presidential candidate Abduba Dida now says Deputy President is out to kill political lives of young politicians with his Kenya Kwanza alliance.

Dida said Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja and his Kakamega counterpart Cleophas Malala should learn from former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba and Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala.

"I look at the likes of Sakaja and Malala and I see Ababu Namwamba and Balala. I think Ababu and Balala should write books. Learn from the experiences of others," Dida wrote on Twitter.

Dida vied for presidency in 2013 and 2017 and came fifth and fourth respectively.

Namwamba lost his Budalangi MP seat in 2017 after backing President Uhuru Kenyatta for his second term despite being an ODM member.

He was later rewarded with CAS position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he has served since 2018.

Ababu is now supporting Ruto for the country's top seat in the August 9 general election.

He will not contest for any seat this year.

Balala, on the other hand, lost his Mvita MP seat in 2013 after his party The Republican Congress Party of Kenya teamed up with UhuRuto's Jubilee Coalition.
