Deputy President William Ruto has on Sunday, March 6, 2022 arrived in London to kickstart his tour of the United Kingdom.

Ruto's head of International Relations, Ababu Namwamba, stated that the presidential hopeful was honouring invites by senior UK government officials and top policy institutes in London.

The second-in-command is also expected to visit the National Counter Terrorism Centre and to address the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Ruto will also speak at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, which is popularly known as Chatham House.

The DP will also have a session with Kenyans living in the UK and pay a courtesy call on the archbishop of Canterbury, His Grace Justin Welby.

Ruto's UK tour comes days after he concluded a tour of the United States of America. The UDA leader left the country on February 27, 2022, for a 12-day tour of the UK, USA and Qatar.
