Jubilee Party Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni now claims that Ruto's UDA party is preparing a petition to challenge Raila's win in court after the August elections.

Speaking at the FK hotel in Nyeri, where he met Nyeri County Jubilee candidates, the Ndaragwa MP said that the petition plot is in top gear because it has become evident that they will lose the election.

"UDA is preparing for a petition and that is why they are looking for how to challenge Raila's win in court. Maina, their executive director, wrote to NIS because they know they have lost the 2022 election and they are now preparing for the petition," he said.

"We will not allow unnecessary challenge in court, you can always go to court but the difference between Raila and Ruto will be such that everybody will be seeing that they are wasting our time," Kioni added.

He said the results of the presidential poll by infotrak are an indication that Kenyans are now waking up to reality that Ruto's campaigns for the last four years have been full of lies and thus the sudden change immediately Azimio started it's campaigns.

Nyeri town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu said Azimio la Umoja's popularity will have risen from 42- to 60 per cent by the time they will be getting to elections.
