Wiper party is seemingly throwing support behind Jubilee's Richard Ngatia for Nairobi's top seat ahead of their primaries set to pit parties' top aspirants in the Azimio la Umoja outfit against each other.

Today, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka held a meeting with Ngatia as well as their aspirant and former Kibwezi MP Prof. Philip Kaloki in a sitting to strategize and discuss the best way forward for the Nairobi gubernatorial race.

Speaking after the meeting Ngatia said he is grateful for Wiper's support and that he is confident that his party Jubilee will pick the best candidate for the race.

"Thank you Wiper leader Musyoka for endorsing me for Nairobi gubernatorial seat. Change is coming," he stated.

This comes days after the businessman launched his gubernatorial bid.

While speaking in Kangemi on Sunday, April 10, the former Kenya National Chambers of Commerce boss assured Nairobians that he is keen to use his business acumen to transform the city and tackle the now advanced youth unemployment.

“Nyinyi vijana kila ward tutawapea machine kumi kutegeneza cabro na sisi kama county tutazinua tujenge mabarabara nazo,” he said.

The Azimio's candidate will face off with Kenya Kwanza’s Johnson Sakaja after Bishop Wanjiru dropped out of the race to run for the Nairobi senate seat.
