Ford-Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has challenged ODM leader Raila Odinga to effectuate part of his pledges since he is part and parcel of the Jubilee administration. The Kenya Kwanza principal argued that Raila has the capacity to achieve part of the promises he has made to Kenyans.

Wetangula, who stated that Raila is the defacto co-president and deputy president of Kenya, asked the opposition chief to use his influence in Uhuru's government to put into effect his promise to lower the prices of food commodities and fertilizer.

"I heard the ODM leader state that in the first 100 days of his presidency, he will lower the food and fertilizer prices. You Mr. Raila Odinga, You are in fact the defacto co-president and deputy president of Kenya, lower prices of food commodities now," he said.

The Bungoma senator, who was speaking at a Kenya Kwanza rally in Nakuru, averred to their supporters that their formation is committed to lowering the prices of food commodities and creating job opportunities should they emerge victorious in the August 9th polls.
