How to load Airtel airtime from Mpesa

You perhaps didn't know that you can load your Airtel or Telkom line with airtime from an Mpesa account.

Though not as fast as loading Safaricom airtime from Mpesa, the process of loading either Airtel or Telkom is still very efficient and can save you time.

1. Go to Mpesa Menu
2. Select Paybill
3. Enter Business Number 220220
4. Enter your Airtel/Telkom number as the Account Number
5. Put the amount of airtime you want to load
6. Key in your Mpesa Personal Identification Number (PIN).
7. You are done

It takes about one to two minutes for the airtime to reflect on your Airtel ot Telkom line.
