Akorino Pastor to serve 140 years
The Kirinyaga pastor of an Akorino sect has been sentenced to 140 years in prison for defiling his two teenage daughters.
Baricho Senior Principal Magistrate Anthony Mwirigi sentenced Gichira Gicini to 70 years in prison for each count after pleading guilty to defiling and impregnating his two teenage daughters in Kirinyaga
On Tuesday January 5, the suspect admitted to committing the offenses when he appeared before the court.
The court heard that the accused committed the first offense on diverse dates between 1st to 30th of June, 2019, and the second offense between 1st and 31st of August, 2020 in Kianyakiru village in Ndia Constituency.
