All is set for Presidential aspirant Raila Odinga's big political rally in Thika town tomorrow.

At Thika stadium where the former premier is expected to address thousands of supporters, the organizing technical team is leaving nothing to chance to finalize the remaining preparations.

Already, tents have been pitched and all the sound systems have been fixed in readiness for the major rally that has been mentioned as Odinga's campaign launch.

Odinga is expected to use tomorrow's rally to woo the vote-rich Mt Kenya region to fill his basket even as he drums up support for aspirants vying for various elective positions under the newly formed Azimio la Umoja political faction.

Already, controversial bishop and parliamentary aspirant David Kariuki Ngari has announced his support for Odinga and will be seeking to clinch the Thika parliamentary seat on a party affiliated to the ODM party leader.

His groundsmen are currently crisscrossing the vast Sub County mobilising people to come out in large numbers to welcome the former premier.

"We are ready for Raila and we have organized a mother of all rallies in Thika which we will use to express our support for him. Our president has shown us the direction and we are keen to follow that route," Ngari alias Gakuyo earlier said.

At the same time, Kiambu governor James Nyoro and a host of other local and national leaders are expected to attend the event that is expected to start at 10:00 am.
