Amani National Congress (ANC) party lader Musalia Mudavadi has accused ODM chief Raila Odinga of deciet in honouring the political commitments of the defunct NASA coalition.

Three of the four parties that formed National Super Alliance (NASA) ahead of the 2017 generation elections have finally written to the Registrar of Political Parties to withdraw their membership to the coalition.

Amani National Congress (ANC), Wiper Party and Ford-Kenya formally walked out of NASA today after announcing their exit last week.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi said the parties have written to the registrar and their officials will follow up to finalise the process.

"NASA is now in the past and we will not address anything to do with it henceforth. We are now fully in One Kenya Alliance (OKA) and we'll traverse the country to popularise it," Mudavadi told journalists during the press conference.

He said OKA will focus on addressing real issues affecting Kenyans in a practical manner.

He took issue with the Deputy President William Ruto's bottom-up economic model saying Kenyans were tired with 'semantics'.

"Don't confuse Kenyans with semantics. Kenyans need real solutions on issues affecting them. We don't want academic models," he said.

He said OKA will focus on reducing taxation, fighting corruption and reducing foreign debts once they take over power next year.

On his part, Ford-Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula said NASA ended because of trust deficit among its partners.

"OKA programs have been organized and we'll soon traverse the whole country," he said.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), which was a member of NASA, also withdrew from the coalition last week.

It has, however, not written to the registrar of political parties to formally withdraw like its associates.
