Babu Owino freed, barred from drinking alcohol in public

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been released on Sh10 million cash bail after being charged with attempted murder.
The MP, who has spent 10 days in police cell, is accused of shooting a DJ at B-Club in Nairobi's Kilimani area.
The bail money will go to the victims treatment.
Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi ordered him to deposit the money in four installments within a period of three months.
Owino has also been restrained from drinking alcohol in public.
