The Ministry also discharged 9 more patients which brought the recoveries to 375. Fatalities remain 50.

Nairobi led with 41 of the most recent cases followed by Mombasa with 20. Siaya has a total of seven cases.

In Siaya, he said mourners moved from Kibera to Siaya for a burial where they are believed to have infected other people. Medical officers from Siaya County notified the Ministry about the patients.

The mourners are believed to have colluded with security officers who cleared them to leave Nairobi.
