Coronavirus: Blogger Robert Alai released on cash bail

Milimani senior resident magistrate David Ndungi on Monday released city blogger Robert Alai on Sh 150,00 or alternative cash bail of Sh 50,00 pending the mention of his case on April 23.
Alai was arrested on Friday 20, 2020 for allegedly publishing alarming and false information about coronavirus on his Twitter account.
According to the authorities, the move was in contravention of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crimes Act, 2018.
