Nakuru County government has entered into a partnership with a faith-based organisation for the construction of a state-of-the-art multimillion shillings referral maternity hospital in Bahati sub-county.

The Kingdom Seekers Fellowship pastor John Kimani William, said the church will work closely with the county government, to ensure the maternity hospital which is expected to cost Sh300 million, is completed in record time to ease congestion at the existing health facilities.

The facility estimated to have a 120-bed capacity, will have both private and open wing, as well as several delivery rooms. County Health minister Gichuki Kariuki said the facility would help decongest the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital, and improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery in the region.
