Man stabbed, runs into club with intestines protruding

A man was fatally stabbed in Kehancha, Migori County but still managed to run into a club premises with his intestines hanging out before dying moments later.

Julius Mohere, according to witnesses, suffered massive blood loss as his attacker who police have identified as Frenk Nyandoto hatched a plan to escape to Narok County.

In a police report filed at Kehancha Police Station the duo were kicked out of the club Annex situated within Kehancha town when they started fighting.

“Yesterday at around 2130 hrs at the said club, a fight ensued between one Julius Mohere and Frenk Nyandoto and the duo were ejected out of the club while they appeared drunk. While outside, the two started throwing bitter words at each other before the stabbing happened,” the report read in part.

The suspect was rushed to Kuria West Sub-County Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

On Monday morning, detectives said that they nabbed the suspect who had gone into hiding in Lolgorian in Narok County.

Mr Nyandoto will be arraigned in court on Wednesday.

While in Lolgorian, he went to a police station and falsely reported that he had been robbed off his motorcycle and in the process sustained an injury on his left hand.

“The murder weapon has since been recovered and kept as exhibit,” the report read in part.
