COVID-19: Kenya records 10 new cases, 5 recoveries

Kenya has confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus, Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi announced on Wednesday.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 384.

Nine of the new cases are from Mombasa and one is from Nairobi.

"All the new cases were picked by our surveillance team for testing," Mwangangi said.

Of the new cases, six are males while four are females.

"The new cases are between ages 12 and 64 years," Mwangandi added.

Five more COVID-19 patients have been discharged after turning negative, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 129.
