Here is what you need to know to get up to speed with today's happenings.

COP28

Today marks day three of the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) more commonly referred to as Conference of the Parties (COP28.)

President William Ruto on Thursday, November 30, 2023, departed the country for Dubai to attend COP28.

Ruto yesterday attended the opening plenary of COP28 and was also part of the panel discussion on transforming climate finance together with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron and other leaders.

The 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference kicked off on November 30 and will run until December 12, 2023, at Expo City, Dubai.

FKF

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League will enter week 13 with games spread from Saturday, December 2, to Monday, December 4, 2023.

Shabana, who have struggled to find a stable footing in the top flight, will be in action against KCB at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay in one of the matches slated for Saturday.

FC Talanta, who are slowly solidifying and showing resilience after a poor season start, will face Ulinzi Stars, while Posta Rangers have been scheduled to play Nairobi City Stars today.

Posta Rangers, who are leading by a point ahead of Gor Mahia, will need to win against City Stars and hope that the reigning Premier League champions drop points.
