The fastest growing media organisation in Kenya Mediamax Network Limited has embarked on education career fair as part of its mission to inform students and parents on available courses offered by local colleges and universities.

On Friday, Mediamax camped at Mama Ngina gardens in Thika town, Kiambu county where they interacted with thousands of career thirst youth who received market niche professional guidance.

Matthew Karanja from the events department of Mediamax expounded on the organisation’s commitment on enhancing an informed society.

“We want our audience community to interact with the organisation and learn about various educational opportunities available and avert wrong career decisions,” said Karanja.

Mediamax also partnered with technical institutions and middle level colleges to inform the community on the importance of technical skills.

Over 16 exhibitors drawn from education, hospitality, retail market and real estate also showcased their offers.

Leading business education school Strathmore University guided hundreds of youth on how to choose courses that reflect the changing dynamics of the national and the world economy.

Copia Kenya, a fast-rising consumer and general goods e-retailer guided potential customers on ordering goods and having them delivered at any location in the country.

Middle level college Petanns Institute of Business Studies (PIBS) led the youth through on-demand training programs.

The expo will enter its second and last day on Saturday February 22.
