Ezekiel Mutua applauds King Kaka’s new and daring lyrical poem
Popular Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombina alias King Kaka released a new lyrical poem Saturday, December 14 that hit 68,000 views after only seven hours.
Bold, daring and politically-provoking is King Kaka's new lyrical poem titled 'Wajinga Nyinyi'
The lyrical poem runs on a strong violin backdrop that gives it a musical mood.
"Dear Lord, today I come before you for two things," starts the poem.
King Kaka begins by touching Kenyan voters whose state remains unchanged despite promises by politicians.
"Sisi ni vipofu na viziwi na tunajua translator wetu alishadedi (We[electorates] are dead and blind and our interpreter [sic] is already dead)," continued the poem.
So daring is King Kaka's poem that it mentions affluent politicians who have been mentioned in corruption cases.

In the last verse, King Kaka criticises the Handshake and wonders where the stadia that were promised by politicians are.
On social media platforms, the poem dominated debates with at least five trending topics dedicated to it on Twitter.
Activist Boniface Mwangi tweeted; Wajinga Nyinyi by @RabbitTheKing. Moto sana. Amesema ukweli mtupu! (The song is hot. He has spoken pure truth)
Five hours after he uploaded the composition on YouTube, King Kaka expressed fears on Twitter saying that if the worst befell him, people should look for him at a police station.

Ezekiel Mutua Commends him
Kenya Film and Classification Board boss Ezekiel Mutua commended Kaka's new art piece.
In a statement on Twitter, Mutua applauded King Kaka for using his artistic creativity.
"WajingaNyinyi new release is evidence that we are a free country. He has used his creative licence to prick our conscience," tweeted Mutua
Mutua also advised anyone who feels defamed to seek legal redress and promised that KFCB will not interfere with the production Wajinga Nyinyi.
