Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday recalled an incident in Mombasa where one of his followers called him a 'survivor'.

Ruto, who attended a church service in Langata, recalled the incident after The Global Cathedral Bishop called him the same name.

"The Bishop has reminded me of an incident in Mombasa where I was passing somewhere and people began greeting me saying 'habari mheshimiwa, habari hustler' and then one man told me 'habari survivor'. That is the only time I have ever been called survivor until today. I am actually a survivor. God has had to step in for us many times to be where we are today, " he narrated.

Ruto further praised his hustler Movement saying it will form the next government.

"Sometimes, solutions of our challenges come from the most unlikely quarter. Hustler nation has created a national movement and it will form the next government, " the DP said.

He further asked his competitors to desist from demeaning United Democratic Movement (UDA) wheelbarrow logo.

"For those who have a problem with a simplicity of the wheelbarrow should tell us about the complexity of the orange," he said.
