Jubilee MPs troop to State House ahead of PG meeting

Jubilee MPs are trooping to State House ahead of their Parliamentary Group meeting set to be addressed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

However, it is not clear whether Deputy President William Ruto will be in attendance.

According to inside sources, the agenda includes the removal of MPs closely allied to DP Ruto in the National Assembly leadership.

Among the biggest casualties of the ongoing purge is the National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali, Appropriations Committee Chairperson Kimani Ichung'wah and Deputy Minority Whip Cecily Mbarire.
