Jubilee Party parliamentary caucus has hinted that deputy party leader William Ruto will be kicked out of his position together with other legislators who have decamped to United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

In a statement, the MPs who are Jubilee staunch supporters, said it was wrong for Ruto to still hold the position when he is promoting the interests of another party.

They further said the party has strategically positioned itself to be part of the next government and continue its "development" record.

The statement by the MPs come a day after Ruto blasted the party leadership for calling a press conference on Monday.

"For instance in Juja yesterday, DP Ruto in an angry speech said that hawa watu ni bure kabisa. In fact he used the word bure kabisa over 10 times in a single road-side speech.

"Bure meaning 'useless', is best the way he could describe millions of Mt Kenya residents and other Kenyans who support Jubilee and their leader Uhuru Kenyatta," they said.

The party is expected to hold National Delegates Council (NDC) this month ahead of unveiling of ODM leader Raila Odinga as next year's presidential election.

President Uhuru has in many occasions showed he may support Raila to succeed him next year.
