NAIROBI:  K24 and Infront, the free-to-air rights holder for the English Premier League in sub-Saharan Africa, have agreed a new partnership for free-to-air rights across Kenya for two years beginning with the 2020/2021 season.

“This deal began last weekend and it will see K24 televising one match every Saturday.

A weekly preview, magazine and highlight programme will also be made available to fans,” said Mediamax Acting CEO Ken Ngaruiya.

“These rights will grant passionate Kenyan fans the widest possible access to English Premier League games,” said  Ngaruiya.

The English Premier League is the most recognisable football league in the world with its influence resonating globally.

“Several African footballers compete in the league and there is hope to see our own Kenyan stars playing there again soon.

“K24 is proud to be a partner of Infront and the English Premier League for the next two seasons and give Kenyans of all walks of life to experience the best football action.”

The matches will also be streamed on the station’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/K24TV.
