The Kenya School of Law (KSL) has accredited Office of County Attorney in Kakamega as a pupillage training centre. In a letter to Attorney Vivian Mmbaka, KSL Director-cum-Chief Executive Dr Henry Mutai said the county office had successfully gone through the accreditation process and met all the requirements. Mmbaka applied for accreditation to offer pupillage through a letter dated June 2. “We are pleased to advise that at its meeting held on August 5, the Kenya School of Law Board approved your institution as a pupillage training centre for a period of six months,” the letter.

Mmbaka welcomed the development, saying: “This is a plus to us. I am happy that I will be part of the training programme for young lawyers.”
