Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) to open probe into his Yatta Farm, following allegations of land grabbing.

Kalonzo Musyoka was responding to claims by the Deputy President William Ruto that he had grabbed the Yatta Farm from the government.

In a presser at a Nairobi hotel on Monday, the Wiper leader said DP Ruto's allegations do not hold any water and called for agencies to investigate the farm.

"My attention has been drawn to spurious allegations by Deputy President William Ruto concerning the ownership of my Yatta Farm," said Kalonzo Musyoka.

The former Vice President accused the DP of desperately attempting to "assassinate his character."

"I have nothing to hide and I today challenge the authorities to open an investigation into this matter. I am today presenting myself for a thorough investigation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation as well as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. I want the matter settled once and for all. Indeed, this is the time to separate the truth from lies and malicious propaganda." he added.

In retaliation, Kalonzo accused the DP of grabbing pieces lands and challenged him to offer himself to investigators.

The Kalonzo/Ruto feud is fast escalating following each one's quest for the Presidency after President Uhuru Kenyatta's tenure.
