Kenya High attributes results to team work
The Kenya High is among the top performing schools in the country, having produced six of the fifteen best students.
The school principal, Flora Mulatia could not hide her joy as the names of her students were called out during the release of the 2020 KCSE results yesterday in Nairobi.
She attributed the exemplary performance to team work, saying all parents and teachers worked together during the pandemic to ensure learning continued.
“I want to commend the dedicated teachers - the teamwork - because they held the hands of the girls and kept on walking with them and helped them believe in themselves,” said Mulatia, who was present during the release of the exams.
She said that virtual learning continued and so were the exams.
Other schools that produced top candidates were Agoro Sare High, Alliance High, Kapsabet Boys, Machakos Girls and Maranda High.
Schools that produced 15 overall 16-year old candidates were Machakos Girls, Alliance High, Kapsabet Boys, St Joseph’s Girls Chepterit, Mangu High, Maranda, Asumbi Girls, Kagumo High, Siakago High, Oloitoktok Secondary and Moi Girls Eldoret.
The top 15 special needs students were from Moi Girls Eldoret, Kisii High, Nyambaria High, M-Pesa Foundation, St Anne’s Lioki, Maranda High, Makueni Boys, Chianda High, Murang’a High, Aquinas High, Moi Girls Nairobi, Mahiga Girls and Friends Kamusinga.
