United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary-General Cleophas Malala has announced that he will lead party members to demonstrate at Azimio chief Raila Odinga's home in Karen on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Speaking during the UDA delegates meeting held at Machakos university on Friday, Malala stated that all party members who adored their party leader, President William Ruto will head to Raila's residence on Monday.

He also asked Raila's wife Ida Odinga to prepare enough tea and Ugali to serve the protesters set to march at her home.

"So, you Raila we have told you that since you have said you will be demonstrating to State House, I as the secretary general will also take our party members to demonstrate to your home in Karen as you go to disturb our president in State House,

"We are telling Ida Odinga, to prepare enough tea and ugali. If you think you have the people, you will see the government has more people than you," he stated.

While insisting that the State House was heavily guarded unlike his home (Raila's), Malala reiterated that they will hold peaceful demonstrations at the opposition leaders' home.

"Let him prepare, and he should know that State House has GSU, Recce and military. Raila, who do you have in your home," he added.

He also called on the Kamba community to desist from attending the protests. He said that the community should not be cheated to join a party that resisted the government.

"You shouldn’t be cheated to join a party that won’t support the government. If Ruto was chased out of government, contested against the system, deep state, dynasties and the entire government, military, and chiefs and defeated all of them while out of power. Now that he is the president, he has the police and chiefs, do you think he can be defeated in 2027 while in power?” he added.
