Deputy President William Ruto has today met Kelvin Rotich “Equalizer Trans-Mara”, an indomitable supporter and promoter of the Hustler Nation ideals, at his Karen Residence.

Equalizer Trans-Mara, a Boda Boda operator from Murkan in Emurua Dikirr, Narok County, told the Deputy President that he was convinced the Bottom-Up Economic Development Model will change the lives of millions of ordinary Kenyans.

“I have visited you today as a show that I am committed to marketing the United Democratic Alliance whose focus is on empowering small businessmen like us,” he said.

Ruto, who took a ride of his motorbike that was branded with UDA colours, said he was keen on creating a conducive investment environment that will create jobs and make small enterprises flourish.

The motorbike rider traveled all the way from Transmara East to Nairobi, covering 249 kilometres to meet Ruto.

After meeting the Deputy President today at his official residence, Rotich later paid a visit to UDA headquarters where he was received by UDA Secretary General Veronica Maina.

He was then registered as a party member and asked to be the party's ambassador in the ongoing mass voter registration.

"He is a very strong support of Deputy President, the UDA party and the bottom up economic approach.

"He is a clear testimony that boda riders have seen hope in the bottom up economic model proposed by UDA," she said.
