Nanyuki: A police constable shoots wife before committing suicide

A police constable in Timau, Nanyuki on Friday evening shot his wife before committing suicide. The wife was admitted at Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The officer is said to have recently been issued with an AK47 rifle loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition for use in the ongoing curfew.
The motive of the shooting and the suicide has not yet been identified but police are doing investigations.
